After surveying the routes on the West Face, Joe and David, decided that the lack of snow this winter on the peak gave this route more objective danger and they decided to look at the East Face. After a long day, they called from an advanced base camp at 5,800 meters below the East Face.
They intend to gain the ridge tomorrow and go for the summit the next day.
The weather is holding and the views are breathtaking!!!
