Wishing Everyone a Happy Losar!

Last weekend was the Lunar New Year and David, Joe and Julie celebrated the occasion with the townspeople of Beding. It has been an incredible week of good weather and great ice. The ice climbing has surpassed all of their expectations. It is plentiful, easy to access and free from objective danger. Climbing with Joe and David is Dawa Yang Zum Sherpa of Beding.

To add to the great conditions the people of Beding are following the progress of the team as watch from the village. Joe and David said they could hear singing from the valley floor while they are climbing and each night on their way home they are invited into a new home to share tea, chang and stories with their gracious hosts.
